Rap Contenders is a French battle league started in 2010 by two French hip hop ethusiasts named Stunner and Dony S

A few years before this league was formed, founder Dony S moved from France to Canada and encounted “Word Up” Battle league based in French Canada. Stunner on the other hand, moved to France at the age of 15 – and was already familiar with hip hop culture.

From here, they began organizing open mics and open street rap battles and eventually this Youtube channel.

One interesting part of Rap Contenders is that the vast majority of matches are judged – and overtime rounds are used if a judgement cannot be decided after 3 rounds.

Rap Contenders has 92,600,000 views and it’s highest viewed battle is Nekfeu vs Logik Konstantine at 7 million views.

Las Vegas based battle rap league started in 2008 by OD.

A California native, AHAT founder OD moved to Las Vegas and wanted to do something with hip hop. OD stated that his early computer and video skills and an appreciation for battle rap lled him to start AHAT.

AHAT currently has 10 divisions – Vegas, California, Texas, Utah, Washington, Atlanta, Louisville, NY, Missouri as well as NEXT Rap league development league

AHAT also had the first million view battle – Artisan vs Nov

AHAT has 74 million views and AHAT’s most viewed battle is 14 year old rapper battles 16 yr old MC AKA Little Sexy vs Miles low at 12,600,000 views.
